Theo Milosevic is an associate at Tyr LLP. Prior to joining Tyr, Theo was an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP in Toronto.

Theo’s experience includes representing clients in class actions, securities litigation, contractual disputes and in administrative and regulatory proceedings. Theo has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Federal Court of Appeal, and in numerous private arbitrations. Theo has particular experience with real-time litigation including injunctions and contested proxy fights.

Theo graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2018. Prior to law school, Theo worked for Spitzberg Partners LLC, a boutique corporate advisory firm based in New York City.

Class Actions

Defended BDO LLP in a class action alleging negligent performance of a service in connection with its audits of a group of investment funds

Commercial Litigation

Represented individual shareholders of a public company in civil and regulatory proceedings regarding actions taken by the company in the context of a proxy battle

Represented Canadian Pacific Railway Company in the statutory appeal of a decision of the Canada Transportation Agency


Represented a public agency in a lengthy labour arbitration involving the Charter, human rights, and collective bargaining issues


  • Recipient of the Canadian Bar Association 2018 James H. Bocking Memorial Award for the best paper by a law student or young lawyer on competition policy


Theo regularly volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario’s Legal Advice Hotline and with the Law Society Foundation’s Lawyers Feed the Hungry program. Theo has also served as a Designated Representative in immigration proceedings for unaccompanied minors arriving in Canada.
