Yasmin is currently a J.D. Candidate at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, she received her Bachelor of Medical Sciences with Honours Specialization in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences from Western University.
Yasmin has broad legal interests, with a focus on developing skills in litigation. During her time at law school, she has worked with the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights as a working group member. In this role, she gained experience conducting legal research in relation to equality rights in accommodation. She also participated in the First-Year Trial Advocacy Program at the University of Toronto.
Yasmin is an Associate Editor for the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review. This past year, she worked with both the private law and public law groups to assess the novelty and quality of academic papers.
