Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation

Represented the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) in connection with a $3.5 billion class action and numerous individual actions alleging OLG owed a duty of care to prevent “problem gamblers” from gambling in OLG's commercial casinos. Successfully defeated certification at hearings before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court and Court of Appeal for Ontario.
