Sam is a strategic thinker and dedicated advocate.

Sam carries on a broad litigation practice that includes complex commercial disputes, private arbitrations, class actions, and regulatory proceedings.

Sam also has substantial experience with investigation mandates. He helps clients respond to issues related to fraud, regulatory enforcement, government procurement, and other sensitive matters. Sam has experience navigating high-stakes interactions between the private sector and public sector, including disputes with regulatory authorities and appearances before Parliamentary committees.

Before joining Tyr, Sam was an associate in the litigation and dispute resolution group of a prominent national firm. Sam obtained his law degree from the Queen’s University Faculty of Law.
